Our Purpose

We created Takeoff Athletics initially as a means to motivate ourselves to continue competing after graduating college in 2025. We soon realized how simple it is to enter highly competitive meets. However, there is not much infrastructure available for individuals to join teams unless you live in close proximity to a handful of clubs in Boston. Entering and training for a meet by yourself is intimidating, and often discourages athletes who would be interested in competing after graduation. We wanted to create opportunities for athletes just like us, thus we created a meet day team and community to connect athletes from across New England, bringing a team to compete together! Train as much or as little as you would like to fit in your schedule, sign up for races, and meet and compete with new people!

We wanted to provide specialized Jumps and Hurdles coaching to athletes from middle school to college. The infrastructure across high school programs can be very underfunded when it comes to Track & Field, so we want to provide an affordable way to receive technical expertise and programming from Coaches with 10+ years of competition and training experience.
